OPERATION:

The ERBM series Suspension Electro Magnet is a strong electro magnet which is suspended over a conveyor belt carrying the product stream. The suspension magnet fits comfortably into the existing set up as it needs no major changes in arrangement. They are suspended from above with close proximity to feeds. Precaution should be taken to avoid magnetization of other integral parts like rollers etc...

Manual Clean (MC) Suspension Electro Magnet units must be periodically turned off in order to discharge iron accumulated on the face of the electro suspension magnet. They are suitable for applications where only occasional tramp iron is expected. These electro suspension magnets are usually suspended from a travelling trolley so that they can be swung clear of the conveyor before the iron is released.

Self-Clean (SC) Electro Suspension Magnet or Suspension Electro Magnet provide continuous, automatic removal of tramp iron and feature a heavy-duty belt, a channel frame for supporting the pulleys, adjustable belt take-up and drive.
